Copenhagen: Wonderful Copenhagen with Airport Transfer

Discover the Old World beauty and architecture of Copenhagen during a scenic, debarkation tour of this historic Danish capital, concluding with a transfer to the airport for your flight home. After disembarking the ship, your sightseeing tour will begin with a photo stop at the Little Mermaid, the famous bronze sculpture which is considered to be the "Symbol of Copenhagen." From here, a visit will be made to the courtyard of the Amalienborg Palace which consists of four identical rococo palaces surrounding the spacious octagonal Palace Square. You will drive through the colorful canal area of Nyhavn, a trendy area of Copenhagen, with many cafés and restaurants along the canal. From here, continue on for a photo stop at the Christiansborg Palace, home of the Danish Parliament and the Queen's Reception rooms. Your tour will conclude with a scenic sightseeing drive through the city. Along the way, pass by the City Hall and Square, Strøget Pedestrian Street, which is filled with shops, boutiques and cafés, and the world-famous Tivoli Garden, home to a wealth of flowers, restaurants and entertainment. Afterward, drive by the Glyptotek Art Museum and the Old Stock Exchange, then through Christianshavn before taking the beautiful coastal road of Amager Island to the airport for your flight home. Please note: This tour is offered to guests disembarking the ship with flights at 2:00 p.m. or later and will end at the airport. It requires a moderate amount of walking and most areas visited are wheelchair accessible. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility and those who utilize a wheelchair; however, guests must be able to embark and disembark the coach via the coach steps. Stavanger, Concierge Collection: Lysefjord Rib Boat Safari

Experience the magnificent scenery along the Archipelago and view Pulpit Rock on board an open-air rigid inflatable boat (RIB). After a short walk to the RIB boat pier you will meet your captain and be given a short safety briefing before being outfitted with a weatherproof suit and life jacket. You will begin your adventure at a slow pace along the beautiful harbor of Stavanger . Once the harbor is out of sight and you have crossed underneath the Stavanger Bridge, the RIB will speed up to 30-35 knots (37 mph) and cruise along the Archipelago. During your journey you might spot some of the local wildlife like sea eagles, seals or porpoises. Once you have reached the Lysefjord you will see the narrow gap into the Vagabond Cave and view the magnificence of Pulpit Rock from sea level. Your captain will also bring you close to one of the waterfalls falling from the steep, high cliffs above. He will navigate so close that you will be able to feel, smell and even taste the pure water freshness. After a breathtaking ride close to the vertical mountain cliffs, you will head back to Stavanger, where your adventure ends in the very center of Stavanger and only a short walk away from your ship. Please note : Wear flat, comfortable shoes. This tour is not wheelchair accessible.

Stavanger, Cruise to Pulpit Rock

Directly next to your ship you will embark a boat for a cruise into one of Norway's most stunning fjord s, the so called "Fjord of the Light," or Lysefjord in Norwegian. The name comes from the lightly colored granite rock that rises sharply from the deep fjord. During your trip you can relax both outside and inside the vessel, while you marvel at the breathtaking natural wonders of this region. You will start by cruising alongside the many small islands of the Stavanger Archipelago on which many have built holiday homes with their own private piers. Leaving the archipelago, you will enter Lysefjorden with it steep sheer cliffs on both sides. From these steep cliffs many towering waterfalls spill gallons of fresh water from above into the salty fjord beneath. If weather permits you will get an amazing view of the famous Preikestolen, or Pulpit Rock , that towers out over 1,969 feet above the fjord. Your cruise will take you directly underneath the Pulpit Rock to gaze at its marveling height. Before returning to Stavanger, you'll make a short stop at Helleren, an idyllic beach at the mouth of the Lysefjord. Here you will get to enjoy some of Norway's traditional waffles which are served with sour cream and sweet local fruit jams. Please note : Life jackets will be provided on board. This tour is wheelchair accessible.

Alesund: Full Day Trollstigen: Snowy Peaks & Deep Fjords

This scenic drive will take you all the way inland towards Valldal, where you will leave the fjords behind and make your way into the high mountains of the Romsdals Alps. You will make a stop at Gudbrandsjuvet, an 82-foot high ravine through which the Valldøla River has formed a complex of deep potholes and intricate formations. You will continue your drive into the high mountains of the Troll Road . At the 2,625-foot-high plateau, you will make a short stop to enjoy the magnificent view overlooking the valley. You will have an amazing view of the snowy peaks and the steep waterfall. Descending into the valley along the famous 11 hairpin turns you will follow the river towards Trollstigen Guesthouse where a delicious lunch is awaiting you. Surrounded by beautiful nature you will have enough time to enjoy your lunch before continuing your journey to the Troll Wall. The Troll Wall is the tallest vertical rock face in Europe, measuring over 3,281 feet from its base to the summit of its highest point. At its steepest, the summit ridge overhangs the base of the wall by nearly 164 feet. The ridge is and has been a prestigious goal for rock climbers and its summit was only first climbed in 1965. The Troll Wall is also considered a mecca for base jumpers, but has been made illegal, although some daredevils still attempt the jump after a 5-hour hike from the Trollstigen Plateau. After having admired the steep mountain ridge you will make your way back to Ålesund and the ship following a scenic drive along the Romsdalfjord and through the valleys and villages of the region. Please note: This tour is not wheelchair accessible and there are many stairs. Wear comfortable walking shoes. It is recommended to dress in layered clothing, bring raingear for inclement weather, and wear comfortable walking shoes. Walking covers approximately 1 km and is at the discretion of the individual.  This tour is not recommended for those prone to motion sickness.  Visibility of sights may be affected in adverse weather conditions.  Comfort stops available at Trollstigen, Trollstigen Gjestegård, Trollvegen. Depending on the size of group we may need to substitute the lunch location.

The village of Olden is situated at the end of the innermost arm of lovely Nordfjord, which cuts its way inland to the mighty ice fields of the Jostedals Glacier, Europe's largest glacier. Briksdal Glacier, your destination on this tour, is one of its arms. Leaving Olden's center by coach with your guide, you will pass two picturesque churches and the beautiful lakes Floren and Olden. At the end of the valley lies Rustøen, around which numerous waterfalls tumble from the ice field. The road ascends through woodlands to the Briksdalen Inn, where you will leave the coach. The powerful Briksdal Glacier is a part of the Jostedal Glacier National Park. The wild glacier swoops down from a height of 3,927 feet to the lush, narrow Briksdal Valley. When you arrive at Briksdal Fjellstove the "Troll cars" will be waiting to take you safely to where the road ends - at the famous glacier. It's a fantastic trip on a narrow road that crosses the foaming glacier stream twice. You will return to Briksdal Fjellstove which has been the meeting place for hill walkers and mountaineers in Briksdalen for several generations. Here you will be served some coffee/tea and cake before your return by bus to Olden and the ship. Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in warm layers. Olden, Loen Skylift & Trek to Skredfjellet

The Loen Skylift is the fastest and easiest way to the best views in Norway. This cable car is one of the steepest cable cars in the world and offers magnificent views over the Olden and Loen Valley. You will see parts of the grand Jostedals Glacier, the largest glacier in continental Europe, maintained by the heavy snowfall in the region. You will also overlook the jade green water of the Loen and Briksdals lakes. Continuing on you will hike on a well maintained path, past the north side of Tungegjølet, a steep narrow gully that ends down at Loen. You will walk close to the steep mountainsides until you reach the peak of Skredfjellet, (1155m) above sea level. The reward that awaits you is well worth the effort - with an impressive view of inner Nordfjord. At the conclusion of your hike, sit back, relax and breathe in the mountain air as you enjoy a light refreshment at the top of Mount Hoven. Please note: Participants must be in good physical condition and should dress in layered clothing, bring rain gear and wear comfortable hiking shoes. The trail covers 3.5 miles (5.4km) round trip and is on dirt and gravel, with gradual but consistent inclines, and steps. On this introduction to lovely Bergen you will board a motor coach to sightsee through downtown Bergen with its old wooden Hanseatic pier, Bryggen, the medieval King Håkon's Hall, erected during the reign of King Håkon Håkonsson, the Rosenkrantz Tower, St. Mary's Church, built around 1170, and one of the finest examples of Romanesque architecture in Norway, the peninsula Nordnes, Bergen Theater (Den National Scene), and Grieghallen, the modern concert hall named after Norway's great composer, Edvard Grieg.
