Funchal, City Highlights and Cable Car *

Explore the adventurous city of Funchal, capital of Madeira and Portugal's largest town. You will board your motor coach for the short 10-minute drive to the center of town. Walk through the vibrant local market, explore the Old Town where the first settlement of the city was born. This old part of the city is characterized by its narrow sidewalk streets and façades of old houses and is considered a historical area of great architectural and patrimonial value. You will climb to Monte by cable car. This village located at an elevation of 1,772 feet high was the last residence of Carlos I of Austria, who is buried in the Church of Our Lady of Monte. Finally you will have a 25-minute drive to visit the Old Blandy Wine Lodge in the center of Funchal which acts as an excellent show place for many the finest wines of Madeira. You will taste four 5-years-old wines accompanied by some delicious snacks. Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Guests must be legal age to consume alcohol. The market and the Old Blandy Lodge are closed Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays all day. A visit to the church of Monte is not included and is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Should guests wish to visit it, it is free of charge and they have to be able to climb 171 steps up and 68 steps down. Tour order may vary but all sites will be covered. Shops are closed during public holidays. This tour is not available for guests in wheelchairs and others with mobility challenges.

St. Johns, Beach Escape

To start or end the day in the best way possible you should experience a relaxing and carefree morning or afternoon on the half-mile secluded white-sand beach at Valley Church. The beach is beautiful, the water is warm and blue, and your experienced guides are on hand to make your day special. Board your air-conditioned taxi and drive approximately 30 - 35 minutes from St. John's to the famed Nest Beach Bar & Restaurant on Valley Church Beach. The beach here offers half a mile of soft white sand bordered by coconut palms and sea grape trees. You will be greeted on arrival with your complimentary drink, (rum punch or fruit punch) before you relax in a complimentary lounge chair in a specially designated area of the beach and sip on your welcome cocktail. Captain your own 2-seater jet ski on a guided tour of Antigua's south coast and discover the exciting and amazing Antigua shoreline and some of its 365 beaches! Board your air-conditioned transportation for a 15-minute ride through Antigua's countryside, rich in daily West Indian life, local villages, and old churches, that exemplifies West Indian culture, to Hawksbill Beach in Five Islands. Whether you have driven a jet ski or not, or you own your own, this tour is for you. Our experienced and courteous guides ensure that you are comfortable operating the jet ski and then you will navigate at a pace that matches your comfort and experience level. At the calm waters of Hawksbill Beach you will be met by an experienced Guide, who will give you a safety briefing on how to operate your 2-seater Yamaha jet ski, equipped with all the latest safety features. Then it's time to follow your experienced Guide out of the harbor for a spectacular adventure along Antigua's south coast in and out of bays and around reefs and the south coast white-sand beaches. There will be chance to stop and simply take a swim or relax and soak up the sun in the idyllic beach location. You then will be guided back to Hawksbill Beach along the shoreline seeing dozens of beaches along the crystal-clear Caribbean waters and have another opportunity to soak up the Antiguan sun and see the Antiguan southwest coastline. There will be some time to just chill on the beach, to have a swim and a walk along the beach with a drink from the bar or browse the gift shop. Your air-conditioned transportation will be waiting for the return to the yacht. Please note: Jet skis are sold on the basis there are 2 guests on each jet ski and single guests will be charged double. Guests must be 18 years of age to drive the jet skis and show a valid id. The  beautiful Bank Barrier coral reef wavers just beneath you as your ship makes the break to the bird sanctuary of Prickly Pear Island, so named because it is dotted with prickly pear cacti. Virgin Gorda: Snorkel Adventure

Board a 36-foot Newton Dive Special vessel for a fun and relaxing cruise through the islands surrounding Virgin Gorda. Motor across the stunning Virgin Gorda waters with views of neighboring islands. The boat will moor at your first snorkel spot, chosen by the Captain as the best location for the day. The crew will assist with getting your snorkel gear ready, give a safety briefing and guide you in the water while pointing out interesting sea life. Once back on board, the Captain will pick out a second snorkel spot for you to enjoy. The tour will end with refreshments on board and a cruise back to shore in time for your beach barbecue. Please note: wear your swimsuit under your clothes, bring a towel, a dry t-shirt or sweatshirt, reef friendly sunscreen, waterproof camera (if you want to record the boulders ashore), and a hat. Participants must sign a waiver before departing the dock. Depending on weather and sea state the snorkel locations might have to be adjusted. Minimum age is 7 years. Enjoy the best that Virgin Gorda has to offer when you take this Island Tour to the world famous Baths. Board your open air safari bus at Gun Creek and wind up the hills to Gorda Peak where you will have the opportunity to photograph the impressive archipelago of the B.V.I. Your route will take you on down the spine of this beautiful island. From here you will drive to The Baths. These massive granite boulders stand out against powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters, so seize this chance to scramble through narrow gaps, intricate pools and passages which comprise this adventurous footpath before it opens out to the spectacular white sands of Devil's Bay. The beach at The Baths boasts an appealing bar, souvenir stand and restrooms. For those not physically inclined, you can still be witness to these dramatic batholiths should you take a drink at the Top of The Baths, or the less strenuous path direct down to Devils Bay. Before boarding the safari busses, sample a complimentary rum punch, punch or water at the gazebo above the Baths, and then enjoy the remainder of your circular island tour via Nail Bay with homes of the rich and famous and Hog's Heaven for some stunning shots of the ship anchored in North Sound. Please note : Wear your swimsuit under your clothes, bring reef-friendly sun screen, towel, camera, reef or aqua shoes to explore the Baths, flip-flops are not recommended. This tour is not recommended for those with mobility issues. Use caution while walking down the trail and through the boulders in the caves. Path is uneven and slippery. On some days expect crowds.
