Mallorca is steep, green, and fringed with enticing coves and more than 200 lush beaches. But all that natural beauty is just the beginning. Stroll along the tree-shaded Paseo de Born in search of tapas. Shop for a Siurell; a traditional red, green, and white clay whistle dating back to the time of the Moors. Watch the street performers on the piazza around the church, or cross the island to beautiful Sóller. Not to be missed is the cultural landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Malaga by Segway

Some things are just plain fun and riding a Segway around Spain definitely falls into that category. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of it; then you'll never want to get off! You'll begin your ride (after an introduction to the operation of the Segway) at Plaza de la Marina, in the center of Málaga. Continue to Larios Street, the main shopping avenue of the city, then on to Merced Square, at the end of Calle Alcazabilla, to see the obelisk erected as a tribute to General Torrijos, currently the headquarters of the Picasso Foundation. Next you will ride to the Santiago Church, built on the site of a former mosque and Málaga's oldest church (founded in 1490). You'll also visit the Roman Theatre, discovered in 1951, which was built in the time of Caesar Augustus and used until the 3rd century A.D. After that time, it was used as a quarry by the Moors to restore the Alcazaba, which is the next stop on your tour. This impressive building, constructed mainly in the 11th century, was the palace/fortress of the ruling Muslims. Continuing on your tour, you'll see the Catedral de la Encarnacion, Bishop Square, and the Paseo del Parque, before returning to Marina Square. Please note: This tour is not possible for people confined to wheelchairs. The minimum age to participate is 18 and participants must weigh between 66 and 265 pounds. Helmets will be provided. Participants must sign a waiver to go on this excursion.

Fascinating Tangier is a traveler's delight with beautiful vistas, lovely unspoiled beaches, intriguing history and friendly people. Separated from Spain by only 20 miles across the Strait of Gibraltar, Tangier is considered by many to be the gateway to Africa. With its cosmopolitan mix of African and European influences, there are many interesting sites in Tangier.  The two UNESCO sites of the Medina (the old-walled city) a bustling place, and the Kasbah which offers beautiful views and fine Moroccan art, and the Place de France in the heart of the new city is an entertaining place to sip mint tea and enjoy the view.

Tangier, The Best of Chaouen

Tangier is a fascinating Moroccan city to visit. It has many of the things that travelers love - a sense of exotic mystery, interesting history, beautiful vistas, unspoiled beaches, and friendly people. It is an interesting mix of North Africa, Spanish, and French cultures. You will have a 2-hour drive via Cap Malabata and Tetouan toward Chefchaouen for some sightseeing. You will start your tour with the inside visit of the Old Kasbah in the medina. The Kasbah of Chefchaouen was built in the early 18th century by the legendary ruler Moulay Ismail. It is fairly simple without architectural surprises however it is surrounded by gardens on the interior and exterior. Inside the Kasbah, you can visit the ethnographic museum containing antique weapons, musical instruments, and photographs of the old town. You will explore the blue-washed town (old medina) by foot along with your guide who will share stories of Chefchaouen's history. You will have a photo stop to take pictures of a panoramic view of the Hispanic flavored town lined with blue and whitewashed houses, tiny balconies, tiled roofs and patios embellished with citrus trees. Visit the cobbled main square, Plaza Uta el- Hammam where you will have some free time for shopping and where the striking 15th century Grand Mosque sits. The Mosque and its nearby buildings were built by Jewish refugees, who alongside Muslims escaped the Spanish persecution to Chefchaouen. Enjoy Moroccan mint tea at a local venue while your guide shows you this unique city. You will have lunch at an authentic and charming restaurant before returning to Tangier. Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. This tour is not wheelchair accessible nor suitable for guests with mobility issues. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and local currency.

Disembark the ship and depart by air-conditioned coach for a drive to St Andrew's Church. The Lord's Prayer is inscribed in Arabic around the chancel arch, which is built on land given to the government of the Queen of Great Britain - Queen Victoria - by the Sultan Moulay Hassan I in 1883. A century earlier Morocco had been the first country in the world to recognize the independence of the United States of America. Tangier, Concierge Collection: Cooking Class at the Blue Door

Moroccan cuisine is considered one of the most important cuisines in the world. The cuisine of the first inhabitants, the Berbers, still exists today in the staple dishes like tagine and couscous. The Arab invasion brought new spices, nuts and dried fruits, and the sweet and sour combinations that we see in dishes like tagine with dates and lamb. The Moors introduced olives, olive juice and citrus while the Jewish-Moors left behind their sophisticated preserving techniques that we see in the frequent use of preserved lemons, pickles, etc. The Ottoman Empire introduced barbecue (kebabs) to Moroccan cuisine. The French colony, although short-lived left behind a culture of cafes, pastries, and even wine. Over time, cooks in the kitchens of the five royal cities (Fez, Marrakesh, Meknes, Tangier and Rabat) have developed and perfected the dishes that blend each of these distinct tastes. Every Moroccan dish has its place in society and varies with the market, the season, and the region. Your first stop will be the Grand Socco, home to a cavalcade of color, charm, street musicians, a fish market, scenic handicrafts, and spices. You will then proceed to Blue Door Hotel Cooking Classroom, where you will be welcomed with Moroccan tea followed by a cooking lesson of a very traditional Moroccan dish, learn how to make the traditional Moroccan bread and take it to a local oven. In the meantime, while waiting for the bread, you will learn how to make and serve a real Moroccan tea. Once food is ready, enjoy lunch and this authentic experience. Depart for your ship with the knowledge needed to impress at your next dinner party. Please note: Moroccan bread, is a demonstration only and not a hands-on experience. Wear comfortable, flat walking shoes. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, local currency.

Barcelona Montserrat with Transfer to Windstar Hotel

Your tour departs from the port for the 1-hour drive to reach Montserrat, a peculiar rocky mountain range which is the site of the monastery where people come to worship "La Moreneta", the black Madonna who is the patron-virgin of Catalonia. As the birthplace of pesto, Genoa has an active food scene and is home to many food markets worth exploring.

Genoa, Panoramic Genoa

Discover the proud maritime heritage and timeless beauty of Genoa on this comprehensive panoramic tour — the only way to take in the city's most iconic highlights, from its sweeping hilltop viewpoints to its hidden coastal villages, all in a single excursion. Departing the harbour by air-conditioned coach, your guide introduces you to La Lanterna, Genoa's legendary 12th-century lighthouse that has guided sailors into one of the Mediterranean's great ports for centuries, before tracing the city's remarkable rise from independent republic to one of Europe's wealthiest and most powerful trading nations. The tour ascends to the Spianata Castelletto, a breathtaking panoramic terrace offering sweeping views across the city's rooftops and harbour — one of Genoa's finest vantage points and a must for photographers. Continue east to the enchanting seaside hamlet of Boccadasse, a jewel of a fishing village whose brightly coloured houses encircle a tiny curved bay — its name meaning "donkey's mouth" — where a stop at the Belvedere of the Church of Sant'Antonio allows you to soak in the charm of old seafaring Genoa. The afternoon brings time to explore the city's bustling commercial heart, with a free stop on the elegant Via XX Settembre for shopping at your leisure, before the return journey passes through Piazza Acquaverde and past the magnificent Palazzo del Principe Andrea Doria, the 16th-century palace of the great Admiral, still surrounded by its sweeping park of sculptures and fountains.

Livorno, Lucca, the Fortress City & Pisa

Depart from the pier and drive to the Tuscan town, Lucca. Lucca was originally colonized by Romans and has retained its layout of a Roman military camp with its two main streets running perpendicular to one another. Coupled with a complicated system of narrow alleys and oddly-shaped squares, this was a difficult town to penetrate. Beginning in the 1550s, Lucca became an important agricultural center and experienced a renewed interest in building and infrastructure due to its population increase. Your guided tour of Lucca will start with the Piazza Anfiteatro, a Roman Ampitheater, now a public square surrounded by shops. You'll also walk along Via Fillungo, the main pedestrian street in Lucca before visiting the Basilica of San Frediano, the oldest church in Lucca, and San Michele Church, known for its intricate facade. After your walking tour, you will have free time to explore Lucca before your drive to Pisa. In Pisa you'll visit Piazza del Miracoli, a collection of four notable buildings with the most famous being the Leaning Bell Tower. Don't miss the chance to take a picture "propping up" the Leaning Tower or to enjoy an Italian gelato in a local café during your free time at this stop. Afterwards, you'll begin the drive back to your ship. Please note: We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring local currency.

Livorno, Siena & San Gimignano Full Day with Wine Tasting and Lunch

Embark on an unforgettable full-day journey through the golden heart of Tuscany, taking in two of the region's most breathtaking medieval jewels in a single remarkable day. Your first destination is the magnificent city of Siena, where steep medieval alleys open dramatically onto the legendary Piazza del Campo — widely regarded as the most beautiful square in Italy and home to the famous Palio horse race — flanked by centuries-old palaces including the imposing Palazzo Pubblico and the soaring Torre del Mangia, whose 102-metre bell tower surveys a sweeping Tuscan panorama. A visit to the Church of San Domenico reveals the relics and extraordinary frescoes dedicated to Saint Catherine, patron saint of Italy, before the cathedral's magnificent black and white marble façade and Nicola Pisano's celebrated pulpit leave a lasting impression. From Siena, the coach winds through the rolling Tuscan countryside to Fattoria Lornano, a historic farmhouse winery where a tour of the ancient cellars sets the scene for a superb Tuscan light lunch served at table: charcuterie, pecorino, and bruschetta to start, followed by pasta or lasagne, and Vin Santo with cantucci to finish — all accompanied by a tasting of four wines plus the estate's honeyed Vin Santo. The afternoon brings the extraordinary walled town of San Gimignano, its iconic medieval tower skyline rising above vineyards that have produced wine for centuries, with time to wander the Via San Giovanni, explore the Piazza della Cisterna, and enjoy panoramic views from the ancient Rocca fortress over the surrounding countryside before the return journey to Livorno.

What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes and local currency. Please note that entry to the Cathedral requires specific attire — ladies must cover knees and shoulders; gentlemen must wear full-length trousers. Please note: on Mondays museums are closed.
