You will take a 30-minute drive to the Apple Orchard Pomeloi, the only one located on the archipelago characterized by a variety of products, smallness and its ecological follow up. The owner, Éloi Vigneau is passionate about agriculture and in 2008, he opened the Orchard and started to produce different ciders, working in harmony with nature, taking advantage of the exceptional yeast produced by fruits grown in salty sea air. The juice is slowly cold-fermented to bring out the finest flavors and aromas to create four elixirs: "l'Enchanteur de pommes," "le Chouchen," "l'Escarbille" and "le Pomeloi" (with an apple in the bottle). Then it's a short 15-minute drive to the Musée de la Mer. The mission of the Musée de la Mer is intimately associated with these maritime and insular people. Next stop will be the historical site of La Grave located on the southwest part of Havre Aubert Islands. This unique historical site with its traditional character and architecture is a fascinating testimonial to the past. Extending over and around its pebble beach, La Grave was the site of the island's first settlement as well as the beginning of the archipelago's fishery. Designated as a historical site by the Minister of Cultural Affairs in 1983, La Grave still fulfills its original purpose as a favorite meeting place. Your last stop will be the Atelier Cotier (Artisans du Sable), a one-of-a-kind studio where sand from the islands is transformed into unique sculptures, sand treasures to forever remind visitors of the beauty of this site. The sand artisan was the founder of the Iles de la Madeleine sandcastle contest that has been held every year in August since 1985. Riding on a boat along the coastline is the ideal way to admire the Islands' fascinating red cliffs sculpted by the sea. Depart from the pier for a short drive to La Vernière wooden church, first built in 1876 and now classified as a historical monument. It is the second largest wooden church in North America and was struck several times by lightning: first in 1900, then in 1945, 1947 and 1980. The wood used in its construction was retrieved from shipwrecks and had to be blessed before the building could be rebuilt. It is an important element of the Madelinot heritage. Visit the site of La Côte, where you will find several boutiques and craftsmen, including the coffeehouse Eva that holds a terrace with a magnificent view on the fishing harbour. For those who want to there will be an opportunity to walk across the street and have access to l'Étang-du-Nord fishing harbor with its magnificent sculpture and park. Then head to the north coast of the island, indented by spectacularly steep and jagged cliffs at Cap Hérissé lighthouse which offers one of the most striking examples of cliffs sculptured by the sea. Every year the Island is losing an average of 2 feet of shore, something the Madelinots worry about. Your excursion includes a stop at l'Abri de la Tempête, which believes in maximum use of local raw materials in the creation of its beers. They use locally grown ingredients to brew their full-flavoured, distinctive beers. A short drive will take you along Chemin Pointe-Basse, a road peppered with many examples of traditional local architecture: simple houses and barns painted in a variety of bright colors. The Acadian and French origins of many of the Islanders, as well as some New England influences are reflected in the architecture of their homes. Several details are typical of the traditional home: the small enclosed porch, corbel, veranda, and painted or stained cedar shingles. Arrive at Fumoir d'Antan a typical smokehouse, which brings to life this last vestige of what was once a very important industry. This smokehouse has been used for three generations to smoke herring, mackerel, salmon and scallops. You will be able to see the room that was used to smoke herring in the past and today it is transformed into a museum exhibit. You will get to taste mackerel, scallops, herring and salmon. Portland, Schooner Sail

This will be a rare opportunity to visit the Owls Head Transportation Museum , home to a landmark collection of antique aircraft, automobiles, motorcycles, carriages, bicycles and engines. The collection features a replica of the Wright Brothers' Kitty Hawk Flyer as well as many other vintage airplanes and cars. This fine collection here is maintained in operating condition and routinely flown and demonstrated. In fact, during your visit you may have the opportunity to take a short ride in a Ford Model T! Explore the evolution of wing and wheel, from gliders to WW1 fighters, including the Red Baron's famous Red Fokker Triplane. Relive the advancement from horse-drawn carriage to the motorized mechanical ancestors of today's automobiles and airplanes. Explore Maine's first commercial vineyard on this half day discovery and tasting including free time in the quintessential New England village of Camden. From the pier, depart to home of the Cellardoor Winery & Vineyard. The property sits in a 68-acre farm with a rich history and majestic views of Levenseller Mountain in the distance. Since the first replanting in 2008, the 5.5-acre vineyard is now reaching a maturity where it is able to produce crops that are sustainable for wine production. Upon arrival here you will be greeted and lead through the facility as your guide will offer insights to producing wine in a cold climate and the flavors that come of it. After an orientation and observed test ride by your guide, you will be ready for your electric-enhanced bicycle riding experience that will boost your pedal power, getting you up and over hilly terrain with ease. You will pedal through historical St. George's, across the bridge to St. David's Island and on to pristine Cooper's Island Nature Reserve. St. Georges, Crystal Caves Discovery Tour

Departing the pier take a short drive through the Old Town of St. George to the Crystal Caves, an amazing natural grotto of stalactites and stalagmites floodlit for your viewing pleasure. So named the Crystal Caves for the clear flowing deep lake and azure blue water, so clear that you can actually see the cave's floor, found 55 feet below the surface. This intriguing and fascinating attraction was discovered by accident by boys searching for a lost ball stumbled across the cave in 1907. Descending 81 steps to the floor of the cave, you'll cross floating pontoons constructed over the waters of the lake as your guide leads, you'll get to see the original entrance the boys lowered themselves from, which appears as a small skylight in the cave's roof. Following your adventure, your guide will drive you through the exclusive residential area of Tuckers Town which culminates in "Billionaires Row," where you'll view the waterfront estates of Ross Perot and Michael Bloomberg. Please note : To enter the cave you must descend down 81 steps and then proceed over pontoon bridges.
