Quaint and charming, Monopoli has many sites within easy walking distance.  Start at the colorful street market and head toward the cathedral, built in 1693 with a tower that is 197 feet high. Past the cathedral is part of the seafront and a promenade and the beautiful Church of Santa Maria della Zaffira and the impressive Charles V Castle, built in 1552. The little harbors that make up the port are full of brightly colored boats and fishermen busily mending their nets.

Kotor, Historic Kotor on Foot

Old Kotor was developed within a small triangular area enclosed by town walls extending to the Fort of St. John. Your experienced guide will direct your attention to structures that were built by the Venetians from the 15th to the mid-18th centuries. They completely enclose the Old Town and form a unique fortification capable of resisting lengthy attacks and sieges. You then continue to the 12th century Cathedral of St. Triphon, which features a Romanesque basilica whose nave is separated from the aisles by alternating square pillars and antique columns. Next, you'll visit the Maritime Museum, showcasing the rich maritime heritage of this area. At the conclusion of the guided tour, you will have free time to explore Kotor independently, before returning to the yacht. Please note: This tour on foot includes the use of headsets. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. There are 20 steps to enter the Museum and 20 steps to enter the Cathedral and some walking on cobblestones.

Kotor, Concierge Collection: Lovcen Hills by ATV Safari

This trip is a unique combination of asphalt and off road, sea side and mountain scenery and different climates. It starts from Kotor with a scenic mountain drive towards the mountain village of Ivanova Korita. Once arrived at Ivanova Korita, located at the foot of Mount Lovcen National Park, and after a tour introduction and safety briefing you will receive your helmet, board your 2-person ATV and take the asphalt road towards the Ivanov Konak restaurant, from where you will take the Austro - Hungarian off road for 5 miles (8km) across Lovcen Mountain National Park. During this tour you will enjoy the beautiful refreshing shadow of the thick beech forest that embraces the road like a tunnel. A photo stop will be made at the place that provides the most attractive view of the 2 highest peaks on Lovcen followed by the place where King Nikola used to arrive to take a rest and enjoy the stunning view of Budva Riviera, Boka Bay and Tivat. Leaving the off road behind, you will pass one of the oldest katuns in Lovcen, continue along the asphalt road and arrive at Ivanova Korita, where your adventure will conclude. Please note: Wear comfortable sport shoes, and bring a jacket. There are 2 persons per ATV and drivers can take turns. Driver's license is required and must be presented before driving the ATV.

Kotor, Concierge Collection: Taste of Montenegro

A scenic drive will take you into the countryside to the charming village of Tici, and the home of the Moric family. Upon arrival at the Moric Family home, which has been in the family for more than 200 years, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome by Ilija Moric, University Professor & President of Montenegro Olive Oil Producers Association. You will get a unique opportunity to discover the secrets behind producing organic olive oil as the Moric family are the only business in the area currently producing organic olive oil. Take a short walk through the olive grove, before visiting their new, modern olive press. Afterwards, when you see the old olive press, you'll understand how the new system has made life a lot easier! At the old mill you'll have the opportunity to sample the olive oil, with Ilija Moric on hand to answer any questions you may have. This is followed by a buffet consisting of a delicious variety of homemade food and drinks such as smoked ham, bacon, sausages, homemade cheese, salad and apple pie. Upon arrival in Kotor you will have the opportunity to explore charming streets and historical monuments of this Mediterranean jewel with your tour guide. Please note: Guests must be able to walk approximately 1 mile over uneven and cobblestone surfaces, inclines and numerous steps. Participants will need to maneuver over approximately 500 yards of uneven terrain while in the olive grove. Comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunglasses and plenty of sunscreen are recommended. No shopping stops are made during the tour but guests will have ample time once the tour has concluded. Kotor, Highlights of Kotor Bay & Baroque Village of Perast

Your excursion begins with a 30-minute drive to the small Baroque village of Perast for a walking tour in this pedestrian only village. See the Cathedral of St. Nicholas and other monuments including the Parish Church, the 12th century Sveti Djordje Church, and the Sveti Nikola Church, built between the 15th and 17th centuries. In a local restaurant, you'll taste some typical sweets, made from an original recipe used during the Baroque period. You will have some free time before boarding a private motor boat to Gospa od Skrpjela, a Baroque-style church situated on one of two islets in the bay of Kotor, across from Perast. The islet is man made, and its original church was built in 1452. You'll view the stunning present church, Our Lady of the Rocks, built in 1632, and enlarged in 1722. You'll see 68 magnificent paintings by Tripo Kokolja, a famous 17th century Baroque artist from Perast whose most important painting, The Death of the Virgin, is nearly 33 feet long. Rejoin your bus for the return drive back to Kotor for a city walking tour through UNESCO protected Old Kotor. At the end of guided portion, you will have free time for shopping and the opportunity to explore the town of Kotor on your own before returning independently to the ship. Please note : Guests must be able to walk approximately 0.7 mile over uneven and cobblestone surfaces, minor inclines and some steps. Comfortable, non-slip walking shoes, hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are recommended. Interior visits are made at the Our Lady of the Rocks Church at the Our Lady of the Rocks Islet. Kotor, Highlights of Montenegro

From the port of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site , a motor coach will take you on a panoramic tour. You will ascend steep slopes up the serpentine road with 25 curves to Lovcen Mountain, through an area of beautiful contrasts. The soaring Montenegrin mountains tower on one side, while opposite them is the sublime beauty of one of the world's most attractive bays. Kotor's Old Quarter was developed within a small triangular area enclosed by town walls. Your experienced guide will direct your attention to the structures that were built by the Venetians from the 15th to mid-18th centuries. They completely enclose the Old Town and form a unique fortification capable of resisting lengthy attacks and sieges. You will then continue to see the exterior of the 12th century Cathedral of St. Triphon, which features a Romanesque basilica whose nave is separated from the aisles by alternating square pillars and antique columns. Alberobello-nothing less than a fairytale village-will bewitch you with its intriguing charm. This community is famous all over the world for its unique cone-shaped buildings with whitewashed walls and stone roofs, all built without mortar. The village of Alberobello was founded in the 16th century. The local peasants built circular houses on the land without using mortar simply by using the stones that they found on the soil or in caves. An early form of tax evasion so when inspection time rolled around, the peasants simply knocked down their houses. Alberobello is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known all over the world as the trulli capital. Your guided tour will start at Terrazzino Belvedere situated in Aia Piccola, which boasts more than 400 trullis. Visit the Old Town (called Rione Monti), which is comprised of 1,030 trullis. Ston was built in 1335 and amended in 1370 and is considered one of the best planned and best structured cities in Europe. The walls of Stone were a massive architecture and construction feat. Originally 7,000-meters long (22,965 ft.), they consist of several parts; the Stone city walls, the Mali Ston city walls and the Big Wall with its 3 forts. Its forts and towers are strengthened by 10 round and 31 square flanking towers and 6 semi-circular bastions. It took almost 4 centuries to finish these complex defense walls, as the builders had to adapt to the rough terrain and advancements in warfare technology. The walls were last used for defense in the 19th century, and today they are a priceless monument of immense architectural and cultural value. Climbing the Walls will start in Ston. On route you will be walking a distance of almost 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) over demanding terrain with more than 400 steps before reaching Mali Ston. The town of Mali Ston is known as the "oysters' capital" of Croatia. Upon arrival in Mali Ston board a local boat which will take you to oyster and mussel beds. Your host will welcome you on board and introduce you to the oyster and mussel planting in this area. You will have the unique opportunity to get in touch with oyster and mussel production as well as to taste freshly prepared oysters and mussels. Next, re-board your coach and return to Rijeka's city center for a guided walking tour. Depart the pier for the scenic, 1-hour drive over Ucka Mountain en route to the Istra Peninsula, and a visit to Roc Village. An important cultural monument, Roc features well-preserved medieval town walls with two entrances, a Roman lapidarium, Venetian bombarda cannon, and functional watchtower. Churches abound here, and include the 11th century Romanesque Church of St. Anthony , small St. Roch Church with several notable, 14th century frescoes representing St. Paul and the Apostles, as well as the St. Bartholomew Parish Church, which dates from the 14th century and features a prominent, 85-foot-high (26-meters) steeple erected in 1676. Numerous other smaller artifacts are preserved in the ancient buildings. Following a short walking tour of Roc Village, view a fresco presentation at a local artist's workshop, then re-board your coach and head to the town of Hum . En route, pass by the Glagolitic Alley, a scenic route of 10 monuments from the history of the Glagolitic alphabet. It is situated on a hill above the eternal green Mirna River, from which it overlooks hundreds of small stone town villages that for centuries have been connected to old Buzet. This is the magic territory of Istrian truffles, the buried treasures and culinary king of white and black pearls. The Buzet area is also the place for great olive oil, exquisite wines and distinctive Istrian grappa which, served with traditional Istrian culinary recipes, fully evokes the spirit of this ancient region. Take an uphill walk to the Hilltop Town of Buzet for guided exploration and some free time before proceeding to Aura Tasting House . The company 'Aura' produces exclusive traditional products such as brandies, jams, and other products made of wild herbs and wild fruits picked in an ecologically clean environment on the slopes of the Cicarija Mountain far from roads and inhabited settlements. Aura production includes interesting delicacies ranging from jams made of nettle, mint, dandelion, sage, elder, fig, plum or cornel besides brandies aging for 3 years, then 6 months in maceration, then settling and being distilled for the next 2.5 years up to 6 times in order to naturally get rid of the sediment. Gorski Kotar represents a delightful blend of pleasant forest shades and enchanting serenity. Upon arrival at Gorski Kotar, ascend the mountains en route to the Vrelo Cave. Take a guided walking tour inside the Vrelo Cave.
