You will set out from the harbor in Amalfi and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic 30-minute drive to Ravello - one of the most popular and well-known locations on the Amalfi Coast. You will see the duomo (cathedral) as you enter the main square. If the church is open, you will be able to peek inside at the majestic marble pulpit, richly cased with mosaic friezes and columns. You will visit Villa Rufolo with your guide, a spectacular complex formed by the main palace and various other buildings of Arabian-Sicilian style, arranged on a wide terrace facing the gulf. Baroque Lecce

Lecce, a city of extraordinary historical and architectural treasures, proudly calls itself “the Florence of South Italy” and feels like an open-air museum filled with churches and noble palaces, made even more elegant by the rich decorations carved from local Leccese stone, renowned for its warm, sun-kissed, honey-like color. Located in the heart of the Salento region, the heel of Italy’s boot, Lecce was founded by the Messapii in the 5th century BC and grew in importance after the Roman conquest in the 3rd century BC; at Piazza Sant’Oronzo you can admire the Roman amphitheatre built in the 2nd century AD, once capable of holding up to 20,000 spectators, as well as the Roman column marking the end of the Appian Way. Walking through the historic center with your guide, you will discover the distinctive “Leccese Baroque” style that flourished between the 16th and 18th centuries, when the city experienced a period of great splendor and was embellished with magnificent Rococo and Baroque monuments, made possible by the fine-grained limestone that allowed intricate decorative details. The tour includes a visit to the splendid Basilica of Santa Croce, a true triumph of Baroque art, and nearby the impressive façade of the Governor’s Palace, formerly the monastery of the Celestine monks, as well as Piazza Duomo, considered one of the most beautiful and impressive squares in southern Italy. Otranto A Door to the East, Walking Tour

Otranto was one of ancient Rome’s leading ports for trade with Asia Minor and Greece and, under Byzantine rule, became an important stronghold of the Eastern Empire in Italy before falling to the Normans in 1070; in 1480 the town was attacked and destroyed by the Turks, and during those tragic days 800 inhabitants were beheaded after refusing to renounce their faith. Dominating the hilltop of the small town, the Cathedral was built as one of the most outstanding churches in Apulia, with its crypt erected in 1088 and the church completed about a century later, during a period of great splendor for Otranto. The guided walking tour of this jewel of the Adriatic coast includes a visit to the cathedral, where guests can admire the extraordinary floor mosaic as well as the skulls and bones of the martyrs killed in 1480, and at the end of the tour passengers may choose to return to the pier with their guide or enjoy free time in Otranto on their own.

Cruise Along Salento Coast

Enjoy a beautiful three-hour excursion aboard the comfortable and well-equipped Hydra boat, departing from the port of Otranto and heading north along the Adriatic coast, where Salento’s spectacular shoreline reveals turquoise waters, lush vegetation, white cliffs, and hidden beaches. The first sight admired from the sea is Otranto, one of Puglia’s most popular destinations, home to about 5,600 inhabitants and shaped over the centuries by Greek-Messapic, Roman, Byzantine, and Aragonese influences, developing around its imposing castle and Norman cathedral; an important archbishop’s seat and vibrant tourist center, it gave its name to the Canale d’Otranto and Terra d’Otranto and, thanks to its historical significance, was recognized as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site in 2010 and is a proud member of “I Borghi più Belli d’Italia.” Just outside Otranto lies the first stop, La Staffa, a quiet, unspoiled beach set among rocks near a deep inlet known as Il Canalone, followed by the Canale San Pietro and Grotta Monaca, named after the monk seals that once frequented these waters, whose inviting colors encourage a refreshing swim. The tour continues to Remito, a sheltered cove with sheer cliffs showcasing the erosive power of the sea, and then to the bay of Mulino d’Acqua, named after the ancient water mill once used to generate energy from the sea, where sandy beaches lie between a series of historic caves and guests can swim in warm waters before exploring further. Heading north, the boat reaches Baia Imperia, with its distinctive circular rock formations rising from the sea, and Baia Morrone, famous for its shallow sandy bottom and striking fluorescent hues reminiscent of the Caribbean, also known for natural spring waterfalls and special clay rocks traditionally used for skin mud massages, both accessible only by sea. The journey continues to the area of Santo Stefano, where the ruins of the historic Torre Santo Stefano watchtower can be seen, before reaching the Baia dei Turchi, named after the Turkish troops who landed here in 1480 and today renowned for its Mediterranean vegetation, fine sandy beaches, and pristine turquoise and emerald-green waters. The final stop of the tour is the beach of Alimini, one of Salento’s most popular destinations, located near two lakes — one freshwater and one saltwater connected to the sea by a channel — and celebrated for its white sands, lush surroundings, and warm waters; before returning to Otranto, guests can also observe Il Relitto, the remains of the merchant ship Dimitrios that ran aground here in 1978, and after the swimming stops, an aperitif is served on board during the relaxing return to the port.

Geo Park Hiking

Change scenery from stone to sand on a scenic half-hour drive, beginning with a short journey to Supetarska Draga and an orientation panoramic tour along the way, before arriving in Lopar, where the island’s famous sandy beaches immediately stand out. E-Biking Through the Island of Rab

Meet your guide at the port and take a short walk to the starting point, where your e-bikes will be waiting, before setting off on a brief introductory ride through the town of Rab, passing its most significant sights. You will then continue toward the Kalifront Peninsula in the southwestern part of the island, home to Dundo Forest, an area of exceptional natural value and one of the best-preserved holm oak forests in the Mediterranean, renowned for its long tradition of forest protection on the otherwise mostly barren Adriatic islands.
