St. Georges, Clear Bottom Kayaking

Have you ever wondered what the underwater would look like but you can't snorkel or SCUBA dive? Well now you can, with Grenada's newest underwater adventure. You will discover what the underwater looks like in a "sit on top" double clear bottom kayak. The journey takes 15 minutes from the port to your starting point at Grand Mal Bay , next to the newly refurbish building formerly known as Sunset View Restaurant , on the West Coast. There you will board your kayak and begin your fantastic journey over the Grand Mal coral reefs, down to Cherry Hill. After 1 1/4 hours you will return to the Kayak house where you will recover from the wonders of the underwater world, with a swim in the calm bay, and a complimentary drink at the bar (rum punch, local beer, local fruit juice, soft drink or water) before you will be returned to the pier. Please note : Bring your swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and a hat and/or sunglasses. Guests will be required to sign a waiver to participate on this tour. The Balthazar River nestled in an exotic tropical rainforest is fed from sources deep in the island's interior. Here is your opportunity to have a thrilling river tubing experience on what is known locally as the "Great River." You will take a 45-minute journey from St. George's through the scenic hilly interior of the Grand Etang Rainforest Reserve to the Balthazar Estate. Your arrival will be followed by a safety briefing before you'll be equipped with a life vest, modified inner tube, and a paddle. Your driver will follow the picturesque West Coast, rich in history and color, to the Diamond Chocolate Factory in Victoria, which produces the Jouvay chocolate ranked by the National Geographic in the top 10 of the Best Chocolate in the World. You will learn how chocolate (tree to bar) is produced and exported. A delicious chocolate tasting and sampling will conclude this enjoyable visit to one of the most amazing sites in the Caribbean. Next, drive north for a magnificent view of the Grenadine Islands to the fishing town of Sauteurs, located at the northern point of the island. St. Georges, Sailing Cruise to the Statue Park

Travel along Grenada's picturesque coastline aboard a spacious, 65-foot catamaran sloop designed and built specifically for day charters cruises. Step aboard and you'll embark on a journey that will showcase the picturesque island and all the beauty of Grenada's west coast with stops at the underwater sculpture park and Mango Bay. From St. George's harbor, you will sail north along Grenada's west coast to stop and discover the underwater sculpture park of Grenada in their Marine Protected Area. These statues are sympathetically located to enhance the reef, making natural use of its varied topography of craggy gullies and sun-dappled sandy patches. Then you will sail to Mango Bay Beach for a second stop before a one hour sailing back to the cruise terminal. The bay is always protected from the elements. Your destination will be a beach in the southern part of the Bonaire Marine Park and an exquisite snorkeling place, excellent for all skill levels. Bonaire has a long history of marine preservation and is world renowned for its snorkeling. This area is the perfect spot to introduce yourself to its spectacular underwater sights! Pull your kayak right onto the sandy beach, and moments later you will be slipping into the warm water with your snorkel gear and enjoying the breathtaking coral and the many colorful tropical reef fish. Bonaire is known for its pink flamingos, nature reserves and superb diving and snorkeling sites. Today's relaxing drive will cover both the scenic and historic highlights. Board your motor coach at the pier. Your route will carry you north along the coast, past many of the island's fine vistas and dive sights. You will pass by Lake Goto (Goto Meer), the island's land-locked salt-water lagoon, for a look at the long-legged pink flamingos. Continue your drive across the island, passing by the fresh water well "Dos Pos" and through the village of Rincon , the oldest settlement in the ABC islands. Your first stop of the day will be in the village of Rincon, which was settled by the Spanish in the 16th century. See a different side of Curaçao on the Hato plains. This flat terrain is Curaçao's mini desert with its orange-colored sand. Our first stop will be at the historical Bull's eye - this site was used by the United States Air Force during World War II for bombing practice purposes. From our truck, you will have a birds eye view of this enormous training target. Next, we will visit the Bos di San Antonio Cave. Here, you will discover the different shapes and sizes of the impressive stalagmites and stalactites in this cave. After this stop we will drive past the enormous wind turbines that supply electricity to the island. Leaving the Curaçao desert, you will continue to Shete Boka National Park. The windier and rougher the weather, the better the show over here. Watch in awe as the waves explode on wild rock formations at Boka Tabla and view the startling spectacle that forms when waves get pushed through a narrow inlet at Boka Pistol. Your adventure will begin with a 15-minute motor coach ride to San Felipe Fortress, built in the 17th century. On an air conditioned bus, during this 40-minute ride to the wonderful island of Baru, the newest tourist development area in Colombia, you may sit back and enjoy the scenery of other areas of Cartagena, take a look to the growing industrial area and finally arrive to the National Aviary, one of the best aviaries in the world given its high number of species. Colombia is the country in the world holding the highest bird diversity, with more than 1,900 species and The National Aviary displays an important sample of this variety. Once you arrive to the National Aviary, you may initiate your tour and explore the different bird observation stations arranged by habitat and species on your own such as: Tropical Forest, where you may find different kinds of Macaws, Harpy Eagles, Tangaras and other varieties of species as well as different kinds of palm trees, and waterfalls. Cartagena: Cartagena City Highlights

The magnificent city of Cartagena, once a preferred target for pirates and the treasure chest of the Spanish Main, is yours to explore as you embark an air-conditioned bus or mini-bus today. On tour, you will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide as you travel past marvelous Republican architecture. You will see the Manga residential area, where some of the aging mansions have been restored to their original splendor. Stop for 45 minutes to explore the Fort of San Felipe de Barajas, a 17th century construction acknowledged to be the most important work of Spanish Military engineering in Latin America. At Las Bovedas (the Dungeons), about 20 minutes is allowed for handicraft shopping and for rubbing elbows with the local artisans who proudly display their works for you. Pass through Simón Bolívar Square and the Inquisition Palace before continuing on to the Cathedral, also called The Minor Basilica, it was the first church built in the city in 1537. Next stop is the Church of San Pedro Claver -the patron saint of slaves. You will find Colombia's famous native gem-the emerald-along with handicrafts and leather goods shops. Cartagena, Romancing the Stone

You will board your motor coach for the 15-minute drive to San Felipe Fortress, the largest Spanish fort built in the 17th century. You will have time to take photos before taking a sightseeing drive through the Old City, admiring the marvelous Republican architecture of the houses in the Manga residential area. You will be taken to the Emerald Museum - Bocagrande to learn about emeralds. You will go into an actual size replica of a mine tunnel and experience what mining is like as you watch the emerald-bearing veins. Then you will be taken to a special room for a lecture and a video on emeralds. You will learn how emeralds are extracted from the mines and brought to the different cutting and polishing centers. You will see the cutting and polishing machines and be shown step by step how each stone is cut and polished and you will have the opportunity to practice cutting a stone if you wish.
