Bocas del Toro on Bastimentos island was visited by Columbus in 1502 and then built up with colorful and Caribbean-style clapboard houses by the United Fruit Company in the early 20th century.   Situated on the beautiful Bocas del Toro archipelago, the laid-back and friendly community is a great combination of races and ethnicities living harmoniously. West Indians, Latinos and Extraneros (the resident gringos) make this an easy place to feel right at home and embrace the relaxed Caribbean vibe of the town. Bridgetown: Barbados Island Tour with Airport Transfer

Your tour will begin with a leisurely drive along the Gold Coast , home to many wealthy residents, and will take you to the stunning area of Bathsheba . This is where the Atlantic surf pounds the coastline and it is a famous spot for international and local surfing competitions. A walk on the beach is a must. Heading into the hills, you will arrive at St. John's Church . There are stunning views from the churchyard - a perfect photo opportunity. The church contains an interesting sculpture depicting the Madonna and Child with the infant St. John. The graveyard contains the tomb of Ferdinand Paleologus, a descendant of the Byzantine Imperial family. The present building was constructed in 1836, and the pulpit is constructed from six different kinds of wood: ebony, locust, Barbados mahogany, manchineel, oak and pine. Through sleepy country villages and sugar cane fields, you will make your way to Sunbury House dating back to 1650. The house was destroyed by fire in 1995, and was gracefully restored and re-opened in 1996. It possesses one of the country's superior collections of antiques. The cellar houses a unique collection of antique carriages, the largest collection in the Caribbean, as well as many items used in the domestic life of the plantation. It also houses a very old collection of optical machinery and sight testing equipment, some of the first to come to the West Indies including the first lens grinding plant. Enjoy a light deli-style lunch with a complimentary rum or fruit punch. A short drive will take you to the airport where you will be met and assisted with your luggage and airline check-in. Please note : There are about 20 steps to climb at Sunbury House and 10 steps down to the cellar. This tour will end with a drop off at the Grantley Adams International Airport or the Accra Beach Hotel.

Open-air gondolas , accompanied by a naturalist guide provide the one and only access to the upper layers of the rainforest. Ascending through the middle layer of the rainforest you will enjoy the fauna and flora. The Aerial Tram Tour will transport you up and away from the heat and bustle of the lowlands to an ecological park located in the heights of St Lucia's forest reserve. Sixteen open-air gondolas ascend noiselessly through the rainforest, offering you a magical view of nature in its majesty - towering gommiers, impressive chatanniers, and the remarkable phenomenon of the strangler ficus, alighted upon by playful hummingbirds and banana quits. An experienced Nature Interpreter will point out giant ferns and magnificent heliconia, and identify the calls and the plumage of the birdlife that makes the Caribbean Oceanic forest its home. The descent will afford you a bird's eye view of the forest and a spectacular panoramic vista of the north of the island. With much to see and listen for, the tram ride will be a celebration of color and life and a restorative retreat guaranteed to refresh the senses. Please note: Depending on traffic, the drive to the tram is about 40 minutes, and persons prone to motion sickness are asked to take the necessary precautions prior to the tour. Wear comfortable walking shoes for the trail. The walk after the Aerial Tram is optional. No high heels, sandals or flip flops are allowed. Bring sun protection, insect repellent, a camera and binoculars. The Aerial Tram is for all ages and fitness levels but is not wheelchair accessible.

Rodney Bay: Let's Make Chocolate

Once considered the dessert for monarchs and aristocrats, chocolate has since filtered through to the mainstream. The tree to bar chocolate class at Howelton Estate features the use of St. Lucia's trinitario cocoa beans, which are treasured by renowned chocolatiers for their aromatic indulgencies on one's senses. The class will begin with the manual grinding of cocoa nibs which have been broken down from dried trinitario beans grown on the island. With the use of a mortar & pestle, class participants under the guidance of the house chocolatier, grind nibs until they transform into liquefied chocolate. The breakdown process can take up to 45 minutes adding in personal touches of desired flavors along the way, which makes each chocolate a unique signature bar. Throughout the class, information on the multiple benefits of the trintario chocolate is disseminated as dark chocolate is renowned for its fascinating health benefits. There is a 20-minute cooling down period to allow the liquefied chocolate to solidify after it has been put into its mold. The break will allow time for taking in the amazing views of the city, while enjoying a beverage from the Cellar Bar or browsing the duty free gift shop among other options. After the break, class will resume and the end result will be a beautiful 1.8 ounce (50 grams) dark chocolate bar that is foil wrapped and can be taken home as perhaps the most distinctive souvenir of St. Lucia. Continue on towards the Soufriere Bay for the sighting of Petit and Gros Pitons - rising majestically to over 2,600 feet (792 meters) out of the sea, where picture taking moments are not to be missed. With cameras in hand, get ready to capture the perfect shots of these volcanic plugs as your boat circles the area. Your cruise will continue up along the coast to one of the bays for a relaxing swim in the cool waters of the Caribbean Sea. Rodney Bay, Rainforest Canopy Zip Line Adventure

Take a bird's-eye-view of rainforest bird and plant life as you soar high above the ground on this zip line adventure. You will enjoy a one-hour journey along a somewhat winding road toward Dennery Fishing Village. Soon you reach the Zip Line Welcome Center in the heart of the rainforest. After a safety briefing you will be on your way along 4,000 feet of cables suspended between platforms. There are also two net bridges that provide access between platforms. The fully integrated system of cables and rigging is carefully designed to deliver a thrill all under safe conditions. Enjoy a half-day tour of Tobago’s rainforest.  Your drive will take you along Tobago’s Windward Coast to Roxborough and enter the Main Ridge Forest Reserve which is the oldest established reserve in the Western Hemisphere and make your way to the Cocoa Estate, which is well known for its top quality cocoa that goes into making World Class Chocolate Products. On arrival, your guide will hand you over to the Cocoa Estate Management who will give you a briefing of the estate and take you on a walk through the estate where you will have a firsthand view of the cocoa trees and the way they are processed for market, including the drying process and bagging for export markets. After the guided experience, you will be treated to samplings of the freshly brewed cocoa tea and chocolate bar before heading back to your transport. You will be collected from the jetty next to your yacht's dock. Climb aboard the twin engine powerboat and enjoy a fun adventure. After a short safety briefing you will head north along Grenada's sheltered western coast. During your tour you will learn about the Spice Isle and also information on the ecology, wildlife, geography and local history of Grenada. After a short drive, you will arrive at the impressive Hato Caves. It is home to beautiful limestone formations, the famous Madonna statue, and a colony of seldom seen long nose fruit bats. A small path will lead you to a variety of stalagmites and stalactites. From here we drive back to the city where your walk through the city center will start. See a different side of Curaçao on the Hato plains. This flat terrain is Curaçao's mini desert with its orange-colored sand. Our first stop will be at the historical Bull's eye - this site was used by the United States Air Force during World War II for bombing practice purposes. From our truck, you will have a birds eye view of this enormous training target. Next, we will visit the Bos di San Antonio Cave. Here, you will discover the different shapes and sizes of the impressive stalagmites and stalactites in this cave. After this stop we will drive past the enormous wind turbines that supply electricity to the island. Leaving the Curaçao desert, you will continue to Shete Boka National Park. The windier and rougher the weather, the better the show over here. Bocas del Toro on Bastimentos island was visited by Columbus in 1502 and then built up with colorful and Caribbean-style clapboard houses by the United Fruit Company in the early 20th century.   Situated on the beautiful Bocas del Toro archipelago, the laid-back and friendly community is a great combination of races and ethnicities living harmoniously. West Indians, Latinos and Extraneros (the resident gringos) make this an easy place to feel right at home and embrace the relaxed Caribbean vibe of the town. Not far from town is the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute, as well as two national parks, La Amistad and many banana plantations.

Bocas Del Toro, Snorkel Adventures & Red Frog Beach with Lunch

If looking for wildlife in their natural environment is your passion you will find this tour to be an opportunity to find exotic red frogs, bottlenose dolphins and beautiful coral reefs. The tour will start with a 20-minute local boat ride from the ship to Bahia Honda, surrounded by small mangroves that form a kind of raft that is home to several families of bottlenose dolphins. You will spend some time watching them jump and play around your boat. After seeing the dolphins, you will continue to Coral Cays for the impressive coral formations and its rich marine life, where snorkeling is an option. Enjoy a delicious local lunch, served at an over-water restaurant. Then you will head to Red Frog Beach through Bastimentos Island, here you will have the opportunity to walk the trails looking for the red frogs or just relax on the beautiful white-sand beach. Re-board your motor coach for the 20-minute ride to the ship. Please note : Wear light clothing and comfortable shoes. Bocas Del Toro, Bird Island & Star Beach with Lunch

This will be an outdoor adventure day of seabirds, history, swimming around starfishes, beautiful beaches with white sand and turquoise water, accompanied by an English-speaking guide. Bocas Del Toro, Oreba Chocolate Farm Tour & Jungle Hike with Lunch

Meet the indigenous Ngabe farmers and learn how cacao is cultivated . The tour will start with a 30-minute boat ride and 10 minutes on the road to access the Oreba Chocolate Farm in Bocas del Toro. Cacao cultivation and chocolate production are becoming one of Panama's most coveted exports, and is completely run and managed by the indigenous Ngabe farmers of the community. The local English-speaking tour guides who are cacao farmers in the community will describe and show you the entire process of organic shade-grown cacao, explaining every step of the way including growing, harvesting, fermenting, drying and ultimately roasting and making chocolate. You will take an adventurous hike that weaves in and out of jungle and cacao trees and because the tour takes place within the protected shade grown farms of the locals there are always many animals to see along the way. It is not uncommon to spot poison dart frogs, sloths, and toucans. Please note : Wear light clothes and hiking shoes. Bring sunglasses, a cap, camera, insect repellent and sunscreen.
